I reached out to get a comment from Darrell Hazell on whether that was an indication Howard has, officially, been dismissed from the team.
But I was told by media relations that Hazell said "a decision has not been made regarding his status."
Would seem to have to happen soon, though, with Maymester starting next week. As far as I know, Howard was enrolled at Purdue during the spring semester, even though he was suspended from the program and didn't participate in any team activities. He was never a visitor at practice either.
