So IU plays Kansas - do you cheer for IU? I know conventional wisdom says support the conference but I can never really ever get myself to cheer for IU. Thoughts?

I went to iu & Purdue. Used to root a little for iu in all games but Purdue's......but as the decades past the over the top arrogance and total obnoxiousness of many of the iu faithful has made that oh so hard if not impossible.

This would be a much easier decision if Purdue had won a NC or even been to the a final four in recent history. A strong IU is good for the B1G. A strong IU is good for Purdue IF Purdue is equally strong or stronger. See Duke/UNC.

I feel the exact same way. I never used to have a hatred for IU, but their fans....are just some of the most ignorant and arrogant people who've managed to construct my hatred for IU.

Even now that I live down here in North Carolina....people here are the same it is either Duke or UNC no cheering for the other ever.

I am also a Cubs fan and the Cardinals can $%^& it!
