I actually thought that the defense played pretty well on Sunday. That is until the coaching staff (?) went away from press coverage and into a soft zone late in the game. Playing not to lose again which never works. At least it doesn't work for Purdue. Look, if you think you may get beat at least give it your best shot and stick with the press coverage. When we go into a zone we immediatelly make the opposing QB look like an All-American.
