I see three big keys from here on out:

1) Match our opponents' sense of urgency. It certainly feels like Purdue has absorbed more punches these past two weeks than they've dealt out. I don't think this is going to be a problem against OSU and MSU, but the rest of our regular season opponents can afford to take more risks than Purdue.

2) Protect the paint. Opponents (especially Michigan and Indiana) have had too easy of a time getting to the rim lately. I don't know if it's positioning or defensive mismatches or what, but every team is going to take it right at Purdue until our guys show they can stop it.

3) REBOUNDING. That was the number one concern coming into the year, and Purdue has been out-rebounded in four consecutive games (-12 on the offensive glass during that span).

Hopefully the 3-point shooting will take care of itself as Vince gets back to full speed and Purdue works out its other issues. It seems like the outside shots fall when the team is clicking.

Does everyone think Vince will be matched up on Keita Bates-Diop for most of the game?

I was thinking about this the other day. I believe he will. Hopefully he is 100%. Can Dakota defend him? KBD can work his way into the post, which could be a problem for Dakota. Maybe Nojel can help if needed? If he consistently gets in the lane and draws Haas/Haarms towards him, it could be a problem.

I think we'll see IH/MH with a foot in the 'charge" circle more than recent past. Keep them there and let our 4s go higher. NO, this is not a fking ZONE! ...

It's the opposite of box and one. It's the point and four defense.
