We've made about 3 fluke baskets, Auburn has missed about 8 layups, and we're down 14.
Just getting eaten alive, and Purdue is fortunate Auburn has gone a little cold or this would be 20+ deficit.

I think the dominant run is over. This team is not set up to be an elite team anytime soon. The regression over the last 2 or 3 weeks by the entire roster is staggering. Painter either needs to get some legit recruits in here or start playing the portal game or its going to be back to irrelevent.

How can we never get Colvin or Heide going to the rim? Every other team manages it. We have the 2 best leapers on the court and we dont get them anything downhill. Reduced to jumpshooting. Mind boggling. Of course they rape us on the perimeter, we never punish it!

None of these guys are being developed. They came here unable to dribble penetrate and still can not do it. How is that possible at this level?
Painter has earned his lifetime contract with last years run but he is 100% responsible for this entire team looking like deers in head lights
I think we need to put Harris back in the starting lineup. Colvin and Heide together don't work. And Cox and Harris off the bench together don't work.
I don't think there are any answers this year for teams that play stifling defense. We don't have the ability to make teams pay.
They cant show up cuz they cant do anything but shoot open 3s that others created for them and seem to miss more open ones than they make. They have no ability to dribble or be a threat on offense.
Tkr is 1 for ****ing 7 from the ft line with 1 or 2 of those front end 1n1s

Just adding Danielsen …I don’t see a good team next year, either. The other four on the floor are not that good. Colvin is disappointing, Loyer just not athletic, TKR is a major liability at the line, Smith is taken out of his game by quick, athletic guards.
I don't know if it is Painter or Thompson or who, but they have lost the handle on what is working.
