I wish painter would actually do something. Turnover every other possession or jacking up some terrible 3 before 5 seconds has even come off the shot clock. Start putting these guys on the bench. He's doing a terrible job coaching this game. Unbearable to watch this.
This motion play where the PG pushes the ball up court and passes to one of our Bigs at the 3-point line for a shot with 25 seconds on the clock .... it needs some work.
It's either a turnover or a jacked shot 5 seconds after crossing midcourt. Even Hammons last shot was just him flinging it up as a prayer. Not even trying.
We waste a lot of possessions with some bs shots and we aren't strong with the ball tonight - we need Vince to drive the ball
Need more of that.....didn't go for Ray....but keep it up....and VE finishes.....that should be the mantra.
I think Hammons is allergic to contact sometimes. Some of these shots...
I understand that Wisky is making it hard to get the ball inside, but if we have one more possession where we shoot a 3 5 seconds into the shot clock I'm going to scream.

I agree, I am sure the team is not doing what Painter is telling them to do. Now, that could be a different problem, but Painter is not making lazy passes or taking terrible shots ... nor is he coaching them to do that. Now, we'll see how his coaching skills are based on what the players do in the second half.
Spacing is the key - if we have it we are money. I think we are gonna be much better at it second half and not shoot up so many first look shots
Well....if you had said Boilers with double digit TO's and shooting less than 40% and 25% from 3.....I'd say Purdue would be in a big hole. Glass half full, but this team has got to play smarter and with more urgency.
Sad as this may be, Jess Settles is actually making sense tonight. Before the game, he talked about Purdue's spacing being an issue at times.
Is it my imagination or did Painter just take 3 timeouts into the locker room after neglecting to take a timeout to set up a play with 2 seconds left? Not sure the players are the only ones who didn't bring it in the first half tonight.
