Has Carsen been running point more this season? I wonder if Painter is trying to adapt our game plan to his style. Whether that's true or not, I do not like this.

I don't even know why I get mad over this I should be completely used to this by now this is just what Purdue is we act like there's nobody else out there better to bring better players here and that's far from the truth. If Vanderbilt can go out and hire somebody that can bring five star players in then Purdue can to. They don't even have to bring five star players in just keep the good players here in the state here that would make a world of a difference
we don't run good zone offense. i kinda of get it because we don't play zone, but we are a good shooting and passing team, so it kinda doesn't make sense. i think our timing is off because we're not used to running zone offense. i expect a better shooting performance in the 2nd half. hopefully, we can defend better, because no matter how well we shoot in 2nd half, we won't win unless we can get some stops and rebounds.
Actually this is the result of being undersized. We have one big slow guy in there who is a zero shooting threat except right under basket but very slow. The other is thin and makes freshman mistakes often. That's our entire inside game. Carson has to work real hard to get anything down deep inside. The team looks scared inside. Reminds me of some of those teams Keady had at the very end of his career at Purdue. Being down 11 to a directional school is just embarrassing.
He's an IU fan pretending to be a Boiler. Long been shown to be that yet still thinks he's fooling people.
Looks to me like the players are enjoying the other aspects of the trip rather than basketball. Bad shooting, poor effort, looking a step slow...no reason for Purdue to look this bad against what should be a fringe tourney team.
He's not trolling! He's just stating the obvious and saying what others are either too afraid to say or too stubborn to admit! This team looks very bad today and also against tenn! What happened to ball movement and senior leadership? What I see is too many guys trying to be a hero rather than playing team ball!
I'm starting to wonder if he has a lingering injury and that is why he hasn't seen the court.
Their small ball I think would kill us in that scenario. Granted, one big isn't working.
Just need to move the ball and stop with the quick shots. Nearly every one of those turned in to points on the other end I think.

Well you guys could keep hiding from the real problem and that is recruiting especially this state. And if stating the obvious makes people at troll then Mark me down as the biggest troll on this board. What I don't get is how we have suuuuch a lack of athleticism. That should be the first thing you look at when recruiting. It's important asset in recruiting. Get a few really good shooters and rotate them, but you can't have all shooters and be so lacking in athleticism while the other team has their way with them under the basket. I mean a team with 8 players has owned Purdue inside almost totally unopposed at all. This is a senior team. It's shocking. In shocked right now just absolutely stunned at this.
True enough. I don't know their progress to know if they are ready or not.
at this point what does it matter? Let's find someone who wants to play ball. we look like shit in the effort and energy department.
Western Kentucky plays 8 players three of them are freshmen and they basically have had the lead the whole game and we got senior leadership
