I'm glad I didn't sell that really nice wood I had ... woodworking looks like a great winter hobby ... and it DOES hurt to say this ... badly.
1st win vs a power conference team in 8 years for western kentucky, better believe it would be against purdue
Either his coaching hasn't registered or he isn't a good coach. Wow...we thought we were better than last year and got blazed by 2 unranked teams in a potential high early tournament. Bottom line this is Purdue under CMP....fire him and pay big boy money!
You can not, NOT run a 4 our 1 in offense when the 1 in is a complete turnover soft scrub like haas
it allows 0 drives to the rim, haas turns the ball over all the time, and our shooters are weak, any time a game isnt a 20 point blow out, they turn to 20% shooters, but my o my are they great when we are up 20 or more!

Surprised to hear they only have 8 scholarship players right now due to some injuries I think.
How can PU shoot the ball so poorly this tourney? and don't tell me it's CMP fault...what happened? Mental?
Had a lot of rushed shots and just poor decision making. Don't know what it is, but plenty of time to bounce back. Just going to be doing in from behind the 8 ball all season.
Disappointing loss. Thought we would be fine without Biggie with the seniors back, the young guys coming in, and the experience from the WUG. Now it looks like we are starting at square one. Coach will have to really work to earn his money and regroup the team from this trip.
It's called in game adjustment and you pull people that aren't willing to lay it all out.
Purdue missed twice as many 3 point shots as the other team even took. Think about that for a second. Purdue missed 20 threes out there. WKU took 12. That shows how haphazard Purdue plays. You look at Carson Edward's Michael Jordan dunk miss attempt when a simple layup should have been done that was a 6 point swing . Purdue just runs some offense on just 5 three attempts and goes inside to Haas or Edwards they might of won this game by 10 points despite how horrible they played. Is that not on the coach???? How can Painter sit out there so calmly without a timeout watching that ???? Purdue missed 20 three attempts, of which many of not most were just totally uncalled for. It just shows they're clueless out there. This isn't rocket science. Where was somebody telling them hey work it inside do this do that don't take a low percentage shot when we're losing that bet 75 percent of the time. It's unbelievable Purdue sat there and let that happen. WKU had a fat pot belly tattoo arm slow guy out there that beat the pants off Haas defense and held his own against Purdue's entire inside game.
Why do we play so horrible in the first half? Happened both games this tournament. If we played the way we did in the 2nd half both games for the full games we would have easily won both. I don't get it. Plus our rebounding is terrible. We are going to get destroyed in the B1G with offensive rebounds against us.
Matt Painter hasn't earned his money yet and he ain't going to I'm going to say it one last time the problem is he cannot recruit talented athletic players
If Bryce Drew can go to Vanderbilt and start Landing five star players there why can't somebody do that here at Purdue cuz this is definitely a basketball school more than what Vanderbilt is. And I say it again you don't even got 2 land the five star players just keep the good ones here in the state stop missing out on those kids.
Reality check! We had a in state 4* guard in our backyard and committed a ton of time for Anderson and Landed zero. CMP will continue to take us down a path of mediocre years. Hell!! we can't get a guy who doesn't have any offers from power houses and has no landing spot.
