Without Loyer possibly 1-3 instead of 3-1 in the BIG. Crazy how good he and Smith are.
Kudos to Smith...great response after Rutgers. He played a hell of a game.
The other possibility is Jenkins. Loyer looked good coming off the bench in the second half after a rough first half.It will be interesting to see if we have any changes in the starting 5 on Sunday. I’m thinking Gillis returns.
Their forces are strongWithout Loyer possibly 1-3 instead of 3-1 in the BIG. Crazy how good he and Smith are.
6pm. BTNHas game time been set? My sched say 4 or 6.
It was a good look. Better than many this year the team tookGillis was open. He just missed
Thanks Doc.6pm. BTN
if loyer had a good game against rutgers, then we could still be undefeated.Without Loyer possibly 1-3 instead of 3-1 in the BIG. Crazy how good he and Smith are.
He is crucial to Purdue’s success. Glad he was a bit more looking for his shot. If Ethan scored off his pass instead of walking and Zach scored off his look off instead of getting it blocked we all breathe easierSmith outplayed Thornton
He was really struggling first halfif loyer had a good game against rutgers, then we could still be undefeated.
Difference in the two games. Brandon makes that shot we win…maybe Loyer should have taken the shot…if loyer had a good game against rutgers, then we could still be undefeated.
Shooter called that defensive set. When is the last time we stole a game on an out of bounds trap play?
Probably 2 or 3 years ago. IT was involved, but can’t remember whoWhen is the last time we stole a game on an out of bounds trap play?
both loyer and smith have had many opportunities to catch a shoot 3s and hesitated long enough to have to pass. when they catch the ball in rhythm and shoot immediately, they can be very deadly. he who hesitates is lost. good to see them have more confidence tonite along with mortonHe is crucial to Purdue’s success. Both shots were much better than most shots taken this yearDifference in the two games. Brandon makes that shot we win…maybe Loyer should have taken the shot…
newman was shooting well against rutgers so that wasnt a bad choice. i just think zach had 3 decent looks underneath.Difference in the two games. Brandon makes that shot we win…maybe Loyer should have taken the shot…
Jenkins looked much better and into game. Course wasn’t he 3 for 3 behind the arc? Fletcher struggled first half with some TOS and maybe a couple of shots. He did try to get to the rim on some drives. A bit disappointed with Purdue’s mental start, but it ended well. The other possibility is Jenkins. It’s unbelievable that Braden didn’t have more offers when he committed to Purdue. Point guards like him are hard to find.Jenkins looked much better and into game. I’m not biased now but Braden played a great game…even on D the last 6 seconds
Could add the same result if anyone of several had a better gameif loyer had a good game against rutgers, then we could still be undefeated.
He got added support to go to ZPurdue by the father of another player as well. No names need mentionedIt’s unbelievable that Braden didn’t have more offers when he committed to Purdue. Point guards like him are hard to find.
Go back through the decades until you find a PG of similar ability. I go back to 1979 maybe 1980It’s unbelievable that Braden didn’t have more offers when he committed to Purdue. Point guards like him are hard to find.
EVEN with the Buckeyes in the all-time series now too, I think.
That is the way it was before matta
Are you thinking Sichting or Walker? Walker wasn’t a great shooter but he did run the point for a Final Four team. He seemed to limit turnovers going back and viewing a couple games.Go back through the decades until you find a PG of similar ability. I go back to 1979 maybe 1980

If, I recall the rule says the arm bar can't go beyond the feet. If so, that's what I was telling my son. He would literally put his upper torso and lean forward.
Yep. O$U better enjoy him this year. There's not enough NIL to keep him out of the NBA.Sensabaugh was a load. Zion like. He has to be a 1 and done.
My gold standard is still Billy Keller.Go back through the decades until you find a PG of similar ability. I go back to 1979 maybe 1980
Fortunately, it was only deja vu once!
Yes, Brian was very good at controlling the game and Jerry was a better scorer. in 79 they could let the air out of the ball with their ball handling and hit FTs. Course I would entertain other names if anyone has them. Are you thinking Sichting or Walker? Walker wasn’t a great shooter but he did run the point for a Final Four team.
