Yep. When they play as a team they win, they aren't playing like one tonight and and going to lose because of it.

This is on the players. Painter has made mistakes this year, but this is on them.

While there are some issues, we're losing mostly because of what we typically have been good at - defense. Illinois has 2 guys that are a combined 15/24 for 52 points.

Illinois had their backs against the wall. They played 3 good teams to start the Big Ten season, played without their best player in their last game who missed the game to be at his son's birth - and it's not surprising that at home, they are coming to play.

You aren't going to win very many games giving up 50%+ from the field.
