-Sindelar looked sharp for past six quarters and can throw touch passes better than a month ago

-Markell Jones finished strong against Iowa

-Burgess, Mahoganu, and Sparks producing at WR

-O-line played well with back up guards in

-Miles producing late and more than Larkin

-Neal, Wilson, Robinson and Ezechkwu still playing well

-McCollum and Bentley stopping the run cold and Bailey is probably the best defender on the team

-Hunte and Okoyne healthy

-Mosley bounced back from a poor NW game and Thieneman getting better every week

Might be the adage: Not who you play but when you play them

Curious about Sparks. His high ankle injury (or whatever it was that took him out of the Iowa game) didn't look good. Any word on his status?

Not yet but given he didn’t give it a go other than as part of the hands team on the onside kick...I doubt he plays. Might hope to win and maybe get him for the bowl game if he heals quickly. Would be better to have a broken ankle (4-6 weeks typically) rather than a high ankle sprain (6-8 but possibly more).

I always assumed the second half of this season would depend on injuries. You can only do so much with the talent on this roster, and if those guys get hurt we get thin real fast. Since we have had very few season-ending injuries, we should be in decent shape for next week.

Purdue could very well be peaking. But so is IU. They won the last two games. One one the road and one at home. It will be an interesting game on Saturday.

Most teams would appear to peak against Illinois and Rutgers, well other than us...

Side note, does anyone know why IU refers to Rutgers as Rutger?
