Not sure he will be staying in state haha. BUT Mullins will be going on 8 official visits:
“I have not been on any official visits yet,” Mullins said. “But I have eight officials set up. I have dates set with UConn first, and then I go to Michigan, UNC, Indiana, Purdue, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Kansas. I’m talking with Michigan State too, but nothing has been set with them. Arkansas also offered this week.”
Braylon Mullins discusses Indiana and Purdue
INDIANA: “I mean, I’m an Indiana kid, I grew up just an hour down the road. I don’t know if I’m going to stay home or not, but it is good to have them as an outlet. I’ve talked with Coach (Brian) Walsh since the end of freshman year, the beginning of my sophomore year, and they always make it a priority because I’m an Indiana kid and they want to get Indiana kids at Indiana.”
PURDUE: “They have been a great program with
Coach (Matt) Painter. Coach Painter is a great guy, I’ve been on like three unofficial visits there. That is probably the most time I have spent with the players was at Purdue. They’re team bonding, you can just tell it is different, and that is why they make it so far in the tournament. They run good stuff and I could see myself there as well.”
“I’m thinking about cutting my list down to nine or ten after this event,” Mullins said. “My first high school game is around November 21 and my last visit is the end of October. The plan is to narrow to three or four and then commit in that time between my last visit and first high school game. With Arkansas offering, it gave me some thought, I’m not sure if I’m going to post a top group after this week or not.
“The team bonding will be big for me. I want to see myself fit into a system with good people, good coaches, and a good community. I’d like to have fun when I’m there. You know, you’re going to be living there year-round, so you want to have fun. Also, I want to work my ass off to see myself playing as a freshman, so I want to opportunity to work hard and be able to do that.”
