Bell needs to find a team that needs a solid slot/possession guy. Browns too loaded for him to see time!

Just curious, can you tell us how Jones compared to the other Big10 receivers who went into the NFL this year? Laporta was awesome for Detroit. Reed was pretty good for Green Bay. Jones had some good days. Anybody else?

Jones was hurt mid season for a few games. Before that he was primarily on punt returns. Yesterday being week #17 of the schedule, I’m guessing most teams were looking at their backups quite a bit.

It is strange. O'Connell has done really well this year, even if he wasn't a rookie. There has been talk that the Raiders might look for a QB in the first round in this year's draft. Not sure why they would do that, unless they are not sold on him yet.

Yeah, eerily similar to when he started at Purdue. Played well and plenty of folks weren't really convinced he was the guy when Plummer was here.

He has played surprisingly well overall. Thats certainly not to say he hasn't had rookie moments.

You answered your own question. He was good, not great, and the team as a whole was better simply by getting rid of McDickhead. They'd be crazy not to look for a QB at least in Round 2.
