Probably an NIT team at best now unless they really improve. This was a well coached team--Go Austin!--but no excuse to lose to them on your home court.
What the Jauguars exposed was our lack of interior D and it will kill us against good front lines in the BT and they know it. Also our inability to make a scad of layups was the difference too. After thinking maybe this team had lit up a bit, crash, they are disappointments again. I am particularly wondering about McBryde. After a solid frosh year she has lost something and Harris is supplanting her. Without a legitimate center, we badly need McBryde too. She takes so many bad shots and even seems to make the good ones look bad, the opposite of last year. Anyway, 11-5 in the BT seems improbable, but we'll see. Certainly not a team that generates a lot of excitement. Clearly have been beating up on weak teams.
