I was leaving work last night and as I was merging onto I-94 west of Milwaukee and heading east, the Purdue Football Semi came flying by me. I passed him shortly after but he followed me on my bumper for several miles until I got off the expressway. I thought it was strange that he would be coming from Madison, presumably headed "back home" the week we play Wisky at Ross-Ade. Anyone know what he might have been doing? Stealing some Badger O-linemen hopefully.

I heard someone with a lot of unexpected time on his hands is in touch with the Wisconsin Dept. of Transportation to take a hard look at the 94 traffic footage to determine why the truck was on your bumper for so long.

Ah. OK. Glad to see the university gets multiple uses out of it.
It actually belongs to one of the moving companies in Lafayette. Wile it is painted in a Purdue livery and is used when the football team has away games to transport gear it's not the property of the University or Athletic Department.
