outright or w/ points ?

I agree on PSU and ND games. I'd take TX over clemson in 1st round. OSU and TN could be a really close game.

TX over AZ state
OR over OSU/TN
PSU over Boise State
GA over ND

ESPN is broadcasting the last games so I'd guess GA and TX in the final.

It kinda suks to be an IU alumni. They finally get to play in a bowl game. And rather than spending a week in Florida or Texas or California or some nice exotic location, they get stuck going to South Bend. I doubt any of them is contacting their travel agent to arrange for a vacation to south bend.

The same is true for OSU alumni. Instead of attending a nice bowl game somewhere, this year they vacation at home. I bet they are so excited to stay at home.

Don’t know where the next game will be, but they will move on.

I'd rather be them than us.

I can attend the IU game against Georgia. New Orleans is beautiful this time of year.

Would you rather sit home on your backside WISHING you were going to your school's game, or would you be happy to see touchdown Jesus? Right now, there are thousands of Purdue Boilers who would gladly take a game in South Bend. And though I'm no longer an IU fan, my guess is many I know will be there with bells on. Props to IU's AD for doing the right thing. And let's hope PU got it right this time and that next year, there's a bowl for the Boilers.

Having grown up in South Bend I can say this is categorically false. The town is the armpit of Niles Michigan.

And frankly neither team should be in the playoffs. ND lost .. at home.. to NIU and Indinia played one team with a pulse and aside from a couple garbage-ish TDs, basically got crushed.

So realistically whichever team moves on stands a good chance of getting curb stomped in the next round. ND is less likely to get blown out I would say as opposed to indinia.

Cope? You are grossly overestimating the value of Indinia.

Pretty hysterical too of you coming to a PURDUE forum to open up this thread because you need our acceptance so badly.

Us cope? Lookin in the mirror first there loosier and stop obsessing over what we think.

lol.

PS: While it can impolite to correct spelling and grammar, for future reference you misspelled "Indiana" and "Hoosiers," as in; "The Indiana Hoosiers will be playing in the college football national championship playoffs on ABC at 8:00 tonight."

Great thread - keep it coming!

Hey, I would love for our team to be playing in South Bend tonight. This is not for a travel destination vacation. This is for the right to go on for the national title.

One of the rare times that I will actually be rooting for the Irish tonight.

Perfectly said!

Any self-respecting Purdue fan should be rooting for ND. It's a very good situation for IU and that means Purdue fans should be rooting hard against IU.

Is there any way they both can lose?

Woooshhhh

For all the clown pants fanatics trying to hide their leprechaun gear tonight… just remember that Purdue has outscored IU by 913 points in football. #weliverentfreeinyourhead

What an incredible year for Indiana! 11-2 and in the playoffs isn’t coping; it’s the truth.

Ran into a better team last night, but what a joy to be a fan of the team!!!!

Merry Xmas and happy holidays to all on this board.
