#2, #3, #5, #7, and #9 go down.

Kansas has its 51-game home winning streak snapped, losing to unranked Iowa State.

Baylor loses to unranked Kansas State at home.

Arizona gets blasted at Oregon, who torched them from deep.

West Virginia loses at home to unranked Oklahoma State.

Virginia loses at Syracuse.

It's wide open this year, folks.

Good luck to whoever predicts the NCAA Tournament champs this season!

I still feel like Kentucky, North Carolina, Duke, Kansas, and Villanova are the five most likely teams to win it all, even with all of the lumps they have collectively taken. Can we please just have one NCAA Tournament where all five of them (throw in Louisville as well) lose? I'd love to see that, even if it hurts the level of play in the later rounds.

Lunardi (aka "Joey Brackets") had them as last four in....gotta think they're solidly in right now.

And meanwhile, Michigan may be playing themselves onto the "bubble," trailing Ohio State by four late in the game.
watched the first half of the Kansas game , they were ahead by 14. Then went to the X-Creighton game which was very good. The beginning of the Kansas game they went over the Kansas player problems, it was like a police rap sheet, very embarrassing.

If Kansas gets their legal issues in order I find it very difficult to go against them in the tourney. I can't even imagine what Mason and Jackson would be able to do against Purdue.

The flip-side to that though is that Bragg is out indefinitely and their 4 or 5 star freshman big (Udoka Azubuike) had a season-ending injury so they are going to be very thin in the post for the remainder of this season (Landen Lucas and Mitch Lightfoot the only true 4's/5's in their rotation now). So, if you look at it that way, Purdue would have the potential to kill them in the paint.

They have a thin bench right now....OT game and four starters went 40+ minutes. It would be definitely be a tall order with their guards, but the Jayhawks would have their issues defensively, too. In addition, Purdue owes them one going back to 2012.

seems like there should be some forgiveness of our losses to NEB, given the churn of other top ranked teams. Our wins over NW and UM should push us into the top 20 rank, I would guess. Yes, I know, when did logic ever figure in.

and #24 Florida is manhandling #8 Kentucky in Gainesville, 83-64 with about two minutes left.

Update: Gators finish chomping on the Wildcats, 88-66.....largest victory for Florida in the series, which is more than 130 games.
