OT - Jaquan Lyle arrested and off the team

the charges were not that bad. Public intoxication, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. It's not like he punched his room mate in the jaw ! I've seen a lot worse actions committed by other athletes, and they just received triple probation and suspension for a half game against an exhibition team. However, it wasn't too bright to punch a police car. I wonder if he even put a dent in it ? Looking at recent stories in the NATIONAL news, marijuana possession will soon result in jail time!

As I recall, it was Crean that recruited him more heavily. The Peegsters really wanted him in Bloomington based upon the posts there at the time of recruitment.

I can't remember, didn't CMP recruit him? If so, this turned out to be one big old bullet dodge.
Painter dropped him early since there was little chance he would qualify for admission. Even Oregon turned him down because of academics.

I'm pretty sure that most judges feel the same way about Sessions that the general public does. I imagine his "recommendation" to return to the 1980's style of locking away potheads for 20 years will be met with many eye rolls except for some unfortunate souls in very backwoods areas.
By the way, I noticed you have referenced Mr Sessions several times now. Hopefully I can ask you this without unleashing political hell on the board again. Do you love him or hate him? Personally to me he is very forgettable in this political landscape. He is so out of touch with mainstream America that I just shrug off most of what he says. I imagine he will go back to Alabama soon where he can pretend it is still 1958 and no one thinks he is strange. Jusy curious as to why you feel he is going to have a big impact (or maybe I am missing your sarcasm).
