NW has been in control of this one from the opening. Doors started being totally blasted off, so think Fran just was like, "eff this" (and looks like that's actually what he was screaming to C Green, well, "eff you" but you get the idea)
3-24 from deep and 15 turnovers from the Hawkeyes......that tells you all you need to know......but throw in Boo Buie continuing to play well and NW also 10-20 from beyond the arc.
Meanwhile, Maryland goes down to Nebraska on the road in OT.

Not really. There were typical bad calls both ways and Fran was right about the 10 second call, but the refs were no where near the level of bad that they were for Purdue. Iowa was just bad and NW was pretty good.
Everyone is hopping on the NW bandwagon, and they are playing well, but they still have @Maryland, @IL, and @Rutgers. And, for whatever reason, it would figure if they lost to PSU in their last home game. A good season and a tournament team, for sure. But likely to lose 3 of the next 4.
What's a coaches box? Lol. Fran was ready to coach IU when we played them.
I don't know if Northwestern will lose 3 of their next 4, but I could definitely see 2-2. We're about to see how good that team is away from home and with a double bye on the line. That said, I have no idea what's going on with Illinois. That is one streaky team.
Fran needs to get some perspective. Northwestern won that game because they played better and Iowa missed a ton of shots.
