I wonder if they kick him off the team and one of the players that missed home so much and left will now remember that he liked it at IU after all.Still making poor choices, but at least didn't run in front of a car this time.
Apparently Perea was with him in the room but wasn't cited. Must have been trying to council Davis on the dangers of substance abuse.
Yogi didn't get kicked off, Troy didn't get kicked off for two offenses....only way DD is different is if Crean knows he can't play next year. And a shame honestly, he could gave really helped indiana next year. Imo was the X factor, no way he can't get kicked off the team
Originally written and recorded by "Fraternity of Men" and the most famous cover was by Little Feat although it was dropped from the CD version.Don't bogart that joint, my friend
Pass it over to me
Don't bogart that joint, my friend
Pass it over to me
Roll another one
Just like the other one
You've been hangin on to it
And I sure would like a hit
Don't bogart that joint, my friend
Pass it over to me
Don't bogart that joint, my friend
Pass it over to me
Rolllllllllllllllll another one
Just like the other one
That one's just about burned to the end
So come on and be a real friend
Don't bogart that joint, my friend
Pass it over to me
Don't bogart that joint, my friend
Pass it over to me
Everybody sing along this time
Don't bogart that joint, my friend
Pass it over to me
Don't bogart that joint, my friend
Pass it over to me

While trying to get all the 2nd hand smoke out of the room. Nice leadership, he should be drug tested as well.Apparently Perea was with him in the room but wasn't cited. Must have been trying to council Davis on the dangers of substance abuse.
Thought it was The Band....or did they cover it too?Originally written and recorded by "Fraternity of Men" and the most famous cover was by Little Feat although it was dropped from the CD version.
I,don't remember the Band covering it but they might have. The one I heard most people play was Little Feat's live version from Waiting For Columbus which was an awesome vinyl. They dropped it from the CD version. My favorite song about the genre is still John Prine's Illegal Smile.Thought it was The Band....or did they cover it too?
Don't forget that crean invited back players who were booted for drug use when he arrived at iu. I'll actually be surprised if he gets kicked off -- unless they are oversigned, of course.
Wasn't Dear Abbey on that same Prine album? Great stuff. ...It don't cost very much but it lasts a long while...I,don't remember the Band covering it but they might have. Yes. I got the Clapton tribute album to JJ Cale who also wrote Cocaine which Clapton made such a hit. Truly one of the most unknown musicians of our time. Willie's cover of the song "Songbird" on that new album is just killer.Ever hear Kansas' version of the J.J. Cale song Bringin' It Back (From Mexico)? Awesome tune from their 1st album.

Rrrr! Now I'll be humming all day.
I have that Little Feat vinyl and John Prine is one of my all time favorite writers/performers. Illegal Smile is one of my favorites too and one of first songs I taught myself to play on guitar in the day. I've seen him 4 times and sadly, the last time last year in Louisville will probably be the last. He was coming off more throat cancer issues. Even so, he played for nearly 3 hours and was awesome. Said to myself it was likely his farewell tour. Legend.I,don't remember the Band covering it but they might have. Wow - just seeing your JJ Cale reference - ANOTHER personal favorite of mine. We should compare collections!Yes. Maybe although I gave all my vinyl to my kids a few years ago. Now I just use my pad or phone along with the computer to store the digital. I realize that vinyl gives the better sound, but the space it takes up over a few mb can't be justified as I try to declutter my life. I will say my "collection" of songs is pretty extensive. Mostly blues going all the way back to guys like Mississippi John Hurt (The CandyMan), Lightnin Hopkins to the modern day guys like Joe Bonomossa, RobertWow - just seeing your JJ Cale reference - ANOTHER personal favorite of mine.
