They cranked it up on defense in the second half, pushing Purdue farther out, getting in passing lanes and putting pressure on the ball at times while also sagging down on AJ when Purdue looked to get him the ball. As another poster pointed out, the way they were playing D was begging for a backdoor.

I was also missed Painter waited so long to use a TO when they went on that huge run. Painter has a history of waiting too long to call a TO to stop a run. Keady was very good at that.

Other than that 2-3 minute stretch Purdue played great.
