Opponents cry foul as Loosiers gain major home field advantage

And if IU had their starting QB, RB, and LT, maybe it would have been 3 TDs the other way.

Purdue was also missing their starting DT, 2 RB’s, and LB in addition to Sindelar and Rondale. You had some guys hurt but not to the same extent Purdue did.

I always laugh when IU fans give Purdue fans crap for how much Brohm gets paid. That’s what happens when other teams want your coach but you guys don’t know what that’s like because there wasn’t serious interest from other programs to try to lure Allen away. FYI, starting next year his salary is less than $5 million. It was skewed the first 2 years (2019 and 2020) because of a bonus spread out over 2 years.
Well , will see how much you laugh when the 6 Million dollar man doesn't live up to that Salary. If going to pay that Much, why not go get a proven Championship Coach

He had a 30-10 (0.750) record prior to coming to Purdue plus he had considerable NFL and OC experience. Brohm is eminently more qualified to be a HC in the BIG than your glorified HS coach who hasn’t beaten 1 ranked team so far.

That (real football team ) includes Purdue. I really enjoy talking football over here, because for the first time IU has the better program going forward.
I love it when IU fans get arrogant about their historically awful program. This season reality is going smack IU upside the head. Last season was an aberration built on a OC who is now gone, a pathetic OOC schedule, and no wins against P5 teams with a winning record.

That's why our coach doesn't get the big bucks, He needs to earn it. Unlike your coach who even after losing to Eastern Mich. and Nevada was rewarded with the 8th highest salary in College football. that's what happens when your fans desperate for a winner. The question is, can he win.

Has the better program based on what? This year would be the first time Allen has a better recruiting class than Brohm. Brohm already has a guy right outside the top 100 committed for 2022 so that class is off to a great start. Should have a great shot at Joe Strickland and Omar Cooper too.

Strickland - yes. Cooper - no. What makes you think Purdue has a great shot with Cooper?

He’s already shown he can. His teams are 4-1 in bowl games. Allen is 0-2 in bowl games. Brohm has beaten #2 OSU, #15 Iowa, and #23 Boston College. Has Allen beat a ranked team? When was the last time IU beat OSU? PSU? Michigan?

Just watch. Purdue’s best is still to come under Brohm.

Some comments made by Steve Wiltfong that Cooper’s best relationship was with our WR coach. Cooper’s sister played b-ball at Purdue and he’s been to Purdue a bunch. I know he plays with McCulley which will help you but Purdue should still have a really good shot with him.

If our fans are desperate for a winner what does that say about IU? We’re middle of the pack historically while you guys are at the bottom. It has nothing to do with what the fans want. It had everything to do with a president and board of trustees finally making a legitimate commitment to the football program (something they didn’t do when Tiller was here). Mitch Daniels is smart enough to realize you have to spend money to make money.

this.

Coming from fans of the worst program in CFB history.

Absolutely lacking in self-awareness.

"Legitimate Commitment" I say so , making more than over 300 D1 coaches. Yet hasn't even won a division title yet. That's more than Lincoln Riley who's been to 2 Playoff championships. Yes! that is a Commitment..............

Hey happy for Brohm. He knew he had a fish on the line, just needed to reel it in........

What would IU have done if they had been in the same position? I’m guessing they’d let him walk honestly.

I would hope like Hell, IU would not have paid a coach who hasn't won a thing yet 6 Million dollar just because another school wanted him.

So if your coach had pulled off the monumental upset of OSU, had all that media attention, and 2 of the best recruiting classes in school history, you’d let him walk? No way. Any IU coach that beats OSU should have a statue made in his honor.

As a reminder, his salary next year is $4.9 million.

that's why IU is the worst program in the history of CFB, and why their fans allow it to happen.

EDIT: It's why they also deserved Fred Glass. Notice, we haven't even scratched the surface with that dumpster fire of a basketball program, compared to what they had for generations.

47-31 record. 4-1 in bowls. Beat OSU and two other ranked teams. 2-1 vs IU. Allen’s record is 18-19. 0-2 in bowls. Has beaten 0 ranked teams.

IU paid for and got a HS coach who literally hasn’t won anything.

And they defend that. And, advocate for that.

Worst college football programs of all time... well, BleacherReport has them coming in at #6, not #1, so they have that going for them ... LINK

That worst program about to change, stick around. Will beat the 6 million dollar man again in 2020

About to change? Like you’ll be 3rd worst here before too long? You’re awful cocky for an IU football fan for some strange reason.

You keep talking about beating OSU, but what about losing at home to Eastern Mich. ? and to Nev. the next year. Let's not forget about your last bowl game, He really earn his money then.

In case you haven't heard the news, Rondale Moore announced he's back to play this season. I'd say IU's chances of beating Purdue this year just went from slim to none........

Dude, you haven't been to a Rose Bowl since the 60's.

Your team is one of the worst all-time.

Yes, I keep talking about beating OSU. And UM. And PSU.

Most Purdue fans see what he's doing, and how he's building the program.

They see the Purdue admin running circles around IU, academically and athletically.

You're not doing too well here. Learn to "take the 'L' " and stop playing the fool.

Volleyball?! You guys aren’t even close to Purdue in volleyball get real. Women’s basketball we need a new coach but historically, no comparison between the two programs. You know what’s funny? You had to hire a Purdue grad/player to make you guys relevant.

We're not talking Historically Because if we did, would have a whole lot more to say. The Purdue grad was smart enough to see where the program was going, didn't want to miss the ride.
