Odds Neb or PSU could knock off Iowa??

Crazy things happen in the tournament, and even with Iowa coming in on a 6 game winning streak they could be due for an off game. Iowa is tough so I don't see it happening, but who knows, maybe Newbill or Petteway/Shields can carry their team to an upset?

Iowa fans seem really, really confident that they will beat Purdue (as a fan they should be) but their 6 game win streak came against mostly the bottom feeders in the league. (Rutgers, @Neb, ILL, @PSU, @IU, NW)

It'd be comical if they got knocked off before they even got to the Purdue game.

Iowa would be playing Nebraska for the 3rd time this season and trying to beat Nebraska for the 3rd time.

Iowa escaped Penn State with a win in overtime earlier in the season.

It's certainly possible for either to upset Iowa. Penn State probably has a better chance as they have a guy who is more capable of "going off".

Personally, I'd rather play Iowa than Penn State/Nebraska.

I'd rather play Iowa simply to avoid the possibility of a bad loss.... that could cripple our tournament chances...

That being said, I think we'll beat whoever we play.

Of either Neb or PSU, I would be more worried about PSU. Not sure either will knock off Iowa though.

Iowa's playing really well. Nebraska checked out a few weeks ago, IMO, and PSU is a one man show.

I think PSU beats Nebraska in a close one, and then Iowa beats PSU by 20.

Only thing is that Nebraska nearly beat Maryland on its senior night. But overall, I agree - that team's a mess.

It took OT for Iowa to beat PSU this season...

And very good FT shooting (granted, it took a bone-headed play and a buzzer 3 for PU to get into OT with PSU this season). You never know

I would say the odds are between zero and not a chance they get upset. I think it will be a war with is. We win in a real squeeker. The only question will be which one of our subs come up big?
