this looks like an amateur way of figuring nil and “contributions”. It shows total support = ticket sales + contributions and it looks like the note says they are unsure of how these estimates were arrived at?
 
Ok I found your source. What is says it’s an assumed NiL amount based on proportionate share of speculated total NIL revenue and applied based on “total support” based on combination of contributions and ticket sales. So nonsense. Again it’s skewed for indiana since their “contributions” likely would be about $28m since it included a one-time commitment of $38m to athletics due to covid from the IU foundation.
