Thanks great info. Always appreciate your posts that show this great info or game clips from X.

Illinois is good ...but with no clearcut great team like Purdue was last year, I imagine the teams that either have the favorable schedule OR improve the most from here on..... or maybe BOTH end up the regular league champ.

Besides Purdue, Dad likes IL, but then again liked PSU early on, and gushed about Whisky too...... hasn't committed to a champ yet.

Hard to say # of losses for the champ, but I guessing a bit higher than Purdue last year.

Based on what I've seen, I'd go:

Illinois 14-6
Purdue 14-6
UCLA 13-7
Oregon 13-7
Michigan 12-8
Wisconsin 12-8

Ohio State could sneak into that group but I'm not sure I see anyone else doing it right now. Rutgers' freshmen are talented but they don't have enough around them to endure the gauntlet of the B1G. Maryland and MSU look solid but a step behind. No idea what to make of IU.

Probably as balanced a top half of the conference we've seen in a few years. You could make arguments for a lot of different teams to win.

Why do you think Ill will share? I havent gotten a chance to watch them this year so curious as to why you think that. I have watched both Wisc and Oregon and they are impressive as well.

Illinois might have the most talented roster in the B1G and Underwood has proven to be a good coach, unlike the guy down south.
I don’t believe In Illinois to be able to win consistently in the conference as they will need to figure out how to play together still. They def are talented but I think they drop some head scratchers and finish 4-6th.

Oh Daniel Jacobson. We are missing him more than I thought.
We need a rim protector.

Ohh perhaps Heide & Colvin disagree ....lol
But yes more rim protection the better.
We are doing very good without him.
But I think with him and assuming progress made throughout the year, we would be hands down BIG favorites and IMO F4 contenders.
He did beat out Berg and Furst for the starting spot, as a true freshman.

However, Heide and Colvin may have not been able to break out with DJ in the lineup this year. Never know which way it could have gone. Obviously feel bad for DJ getting hurt that early, but it’s been great seeing those 2 flourish.

3: Ohio St. 13.36
4. Iowa 12.34

Illinois is rated 7th and IU with the best talent money can buy is at 9th.

PSU being #1 on that list should tell you all you need to know about the value of that metric this early in the season.

PSU has a lot of talent and has added some nice bigs, they are veteran team kinda like Purdue, both teams have maintained their rosters and talent. They lost to a good Clemson team who is rated as good as Old Miss who gave us all we wanted on a neutral floor. Not surprised we are a dog (-2). We need to bring our A game to have a chance. You end up with good metrics if you perform. Look at IU and all that "TALENT", their metrics are 9th best in the BT, playing a weak schedule!

rockkkkk challllkk Jaayyyy hawwwkkkk…Kkkkkkkkk…UUUUUUU.

Beat down by almost 20. Seems Creighton is glad ashworth is back

Wish I could have watched but didn’t need to add another channel for steaming 😂

What were the main takeaways?

Home court. ISU Shot better, more FT.

M led by Jones fought all the way back to take a lead. Then ISU took it inside & home crowd took over.

The Pressure did not effect either team as much as it did Purdue because both used to it & ISU has a great physical guard in Gilbert that just kept getting to the lane. iSU had more foul shots due to getting in the lane. Main difference.

M had an injured player so they were down a guy. Both teams very good.

Thanks! Which guy was injured for Marquette?

I watched Maui a bit and saw Gilbert was really tough. Lipsey doesn’t seem to be fully recovered from shoulder surgery in the offseason (I think that’s what he had done).

I feel Momcilovic isn’t used enough for ISU…he’d be nice to have on the team next year… 👀

Ah and Ross caused havoc for us…
But Wow Ross in a walking boot after spraining it and Lowery with a knee injury and is already ruled out vs Wisky.

I see Jones almost had another triple double.
They’ll need him to play even better (he’s playing great now) vs Wisconsin this weekend.
