NFL to play "Black national anthem"

But, if it is about cultural conditioning, why don't blacks change the culture? (and by the way, no black person born in the last 50 years had to worry about Jim Crow, lynchings, etc).
Of course you are wrong again. Jim Crow died after the Civil and Voting tights bills in the 60’s. The last 50 plus years blacks had to deal with Jim Crow’s more sophisticated cousin, James Crow Esquire. Just like Lee Atwater trained the racist Dixiecrats, racism is more coded and abstract. There are still housing, bank loan discrimination. They have been passing voter suppression laws since 2012. Since the 2020 election, there are now voter suppression laws passed or debated on 43 states. The past 50 years, the police have been harassing blacks, coerced confessions, planting evidence etc.

Then how do you explain the success rates of black immigrants? Since they’re black, surely they’re facing the same discrimination, police harassment, etc that you claim occurs? How are they able to overcome?

I just told you in the other thread they aren’t culturally conditioned to believe in their own inferiority. However not all black immigrants are successful. The Nigerians have become successful doctors in this country. Education is stressed in Nigeria from my observations. But then you have the Haitians, Jamaicans, and others from Caribbean countries that seem to struggle in America. Obviously there are blacks in this country that have overcome.

You sound like what Laura Ingrahm from Faux News said to LeBron James, “Shut up and dribble”. Unlike the Roman gladiators, these professional athletes do not live in the basement of the arenas they perform in. These athletes live and drive to work everyday like anyone else. They don’t come out of the arena basement, perform and then go back when it is over. These athletes are socially aware of what is going on. And they feel that something is not right, they have every right to speak about it.

From a black person’s point of view it seems like a lot of the white audiences don’t like that these athletes are making a lot of money. If a black athlete wants to protest against what other blacks deem offensive or racist like police brutality then I think the white audience that don’t like it should get over it. Perhaps show more empathy and not call them sons of bitches like President Slick did. That was very wrong for a sitting President to get in the fray like that. If you guys are that upset about athletes kneeling or turning their backs on the flag, then you should be equally or even more upset with people that fly the confederate flag. Or place confederate stickers on their vehicles. To me there is nothing more treasonous than that confederate flag.
President Trump didn’t call black NFL players sons of bitches. Why have you lied about this so much?
