Good numbers but can he play...
Have some good competition w the two safety s from detDetr and all the frosh that is coming in... will have a great rotation of talented wr n do... Now for the line to provide protection and the qb being able to find which open guy to throw tooooo!

Walkon....not expected to come in and start defensively BUT he can come in with his size and speed and contribute on special teams. A big factor moving forward is getting out starters off special teams...Knox, for example, was on kickoffs.

I thought the "other" #1 was on KO coverage?
Nope. Knox was frequently on special teams. Kid's like this one reason Hodges was brought in. He built a great walk-on program at OSU where they were in fact getting 3 star rated kids to walk on. Kids like this from the surrounding area and Indiana who show good athleticism and have a well built body can contribute in specific roles on special teams. You may even have a kid who develops well enough to find the field on offense or defense but just needs to added time and training to allow their bodies to catch up.
