Never a fan of deferring unless you are tO$U or AL with NFL defensive players at nearly every position. Take the ball and ram it up the "A hole".

With that said: I see a more sustained drive. What can I say, I'm vanilla.
1) Run Zander Horvath between tackles at the weakest LB they have.
2) Slot WR on underneath route play action crossing pass
3) WR David Bell do your thing for a 1st down possession catch.
4) Zander Horvath pop pass with H back (i.e. two TE set) leading the way with a good WR rub to spring him
Keep the drive alive...for 10 plays to begin wearing down OSU.

If Purdue could get 75+ plays on offense, we should win controlling the ball and exhausting Oregon State on a likely hot humid night early in the season. I'm sure smarter coaches than I look and see that a daily 5 degree + humidity difference between Corvalis, OR and West Lafayette, IN should play in our favor when grinding them out. Hope any rain holds off that evening!
