I think we will see a much more focused and deliberate group on Saturday. Ball control and movement will likely be better as the offense works to move the ball more while also cutting down on the turnovers. What have learned Boilers and how can we apply it?

any TV for the game?We will see a very good game tomorrow from the Big 3.
I believe several from the bench joins them in that effort. Big win. Fun watch.
I expect alot of people wll be watching the osu football game at that timeI expect a lot of feeding the ball inside to TKR, for him to then decide to shoot or kick out. TKR with 25+ points.
Thought it was B10+....is it not?any TV for the game?
I don’t think Heide and Colvin don’t have great handles. The only returning backcourt/wing player who can regularly get his own shot against power 5 competition is Smith. He struggles sometimes when he gets to the hoop because of his size. Loyer sometimes can get to the basket when he is overplayed on his jump shot. Not sure yet on Harris and Cox.Things I want to start seeing from Colvin and Heide - getting downhill. One of the plays against Marquette, Colvin had an angle on the forward who was guarding him and instead of turning the corner and taking it to the rim, he was looking to pass. Not sure why either of those guys is scared of dribbling. I also think Colvin is one we should run action for the get him mismatches where he can use his size against smaller guards.
I want to see Gicarri be more aggressive in the offense and not just a ballhandler. He needs to find his place in the offense otherwise we are basically 4v5 on offense.
Colvin and Heide not having usable handles is a challenge because it limits their offensive abilities. That is something they should have worked on in the off-season. Perhaps they did but it is a confidence issue.I don’t think Heide and Colvin don’t have great handles. don't get it
I've said it in the past and predict it in the future. Containing the dribble and pass (to a lessor extent) outside the lane will be a weaker area 5, 10,15 years from now. It seems Caleb is leading with the ball too early or showing it too early on those potential dunks that get blocked. As we know if Matt makes a change, it many times is after a loss.I think we will see a much more focused and deliberate group on Saturday. The big three will step up and I could see Braden taking over in this one. If you wanted to predict a triple double, this one would be my pick.
I don’t know if Paint will change the lineup or not but I could see Furst getting the nod at the five.
Harris and Cox need to make sure they are aggressive on offense as we need them to give us something every game. Same goes for Heide and Colvin. It’s just a matter of time before Colvin gives us a double double the way he has been playing D and rebounding.
Overall I predict we slow it down a bit from Tuesday night and really, really focus on cutting the turnovers, rebounding the ball, especially on the defensive end and keeping the opponent out of the paint.
True...and selling out to a 3 ball or at the rim only for the number's game makes attacking for a mid range shot a second thought...which feeds into more pressure and running Purdue off the three. With a good, quick first step those two should only require 2 and at most 3 dribbles to get into the lane for a short jumpers and confidently elevate knowing the other team doesn't want to foul a jump shooter. High school players should be able to go from the elbow to a layup with one dribble easily uncontested just to show the distance that can be covered. Players 6'5" and taller that are athletic should be able to do that...."IF" they worked on it.Colvin and Heide not having usable handles is a challenge because it limits their offensive abilities. When they have mismatches against forwards, they should be able to use that to their advantage. They need to be able to cut and slash and not just shoot.
the one time he got the ball , he took a step to gather himself and that was enough time for someone to block itI've said it in the past and predict it in the future. Some times it is lack of speed and sometimes like another block against BAMA??? it was quick. What he does and shouldn't sometimes is lead with the ball, but bring the ball up as he is already going up clearing he way with his body and elbows as needed, but not showing the ball first or use it to lead...IMO He planned on dunking and so that ball was going up furst!the one time he got the ball , he took a step to gather himself and that was enough time for someone to block it
Crikey, I wonder if we will get the announcer from England with Australian accent again?Thought it was B10+....is it not?

not just that he hesitates, he crouches and makes himself small when he's trying to jump high.the one time he got the ball , he took a step to gather himself and that was enough time for someone to block it
agree, that's what I actually meant when I said he had to gather himself.not just that he hesitates, he crouches and makes himself small when he's trying to jump high.
I do like the "special features" chick, Milli Vanilli or Anna Fofanna or something.Crikey, I wonder if we will get the announcer from England with Australian accent again?
As long as he's doing basketball games rather than air traffic control. If so, "Get ready for a Beeg Bottle in the PINT, Might.....ya pelican."
