Michigan is the team to beat it seems, H- Ill, Mary, Mich St. Rd- Mich St, Nebr. , Ohio St. = 3-3 + 11-2 =15-5
Purdue (not easy), H-Wisc, Ucla, Rutgers. Rd-Ill, IU, Mich St. = 4-2 + 11-3 =15-5
Wisconsin (easiest) H-Ill, Ore, Rut, Wash. Rd- Mich St. Minn, Purdue = 6-1 + 9-4= 15-5
Mich St. (brutal) H-Mich, Purdue, Wisc. Rd- Ill, Iowa, Mary, Mich = 4-3 + 10-3 =14-6
Maryland (2nd easiest) H- Iowa, Mich St, NW, USC Rd - Mich, Ohio St. = 5-1 + 9-5= 14-6
UCLA (doable) H- Minn, Ohio St., USC. Rd- IU, NW, Purdue = 5-1 + 9-5= 14-6

My gut feel:
I think Purdue will win out at home. Not saying it will be easy. Wisconsin and UCLA in particular will be 40-minute knock-down drag-outs. But this team has the talent and maturity to get it done. The other side of that coin is I can see Purdue losing all three of its remaining road games:

MSU: Not completely sold on Sparty, but Purdue has dominated that series in recent years. The payback could be coming Saturday. Plus, if MSU loses at Illinois, the Purdue game becomes Izzo's coronation for passing Knight in B1G wins.

Indiana: I think Purdue is the better team, but Indiana is much more desperate. The toughest games to win this time of year are road games at bubble teams. Indiana will also be confident after playing Purdue even in Mackey. The Hoosiers will want to send Woody out with a rivalry win. Purdue will have to overcome a lot of intangibles to win this one.

Illinois: I don't know what to make of the Illini. They're talented but inconsistent. Could depend on who's all healthy for both teams going into this game. It seems like Purdue has had Illinois's number in recent years, too.

I'd say Purdue has to win out at home and steal at least one on the road to stay in the fight. If Purdue drops another road game they'll probably have to win two on the road.

To me Tuesday is everything. Granted yeah, we can't afford a slip-up at home. But if we go into this assuming Michigan and Michigan State split with each other - which is a fair assumption - then a win at East Lansing gives us the tiebreaker against both.

Yeah, I think losing the Michigan game cost Purdue any shot at winning this outright. A lot can happen though. Nothing easy for Michigan, Purdue, and MSU. Wisky, UCLA, and Maryland have favorable enough schedules that they could crash the party and grab share if things break right for them and they finish hot.

I think 4 losses will win it out right for someone. Michigan has best shot, Purdue would need to go 5-1, which is hard to see.

15-5 will get a team a share with Michigan.

If 14-6 wins, it could be a 5 way tie, lol.

On paper, it’s Michigan, but the games are not played on paper. Purdue just needs to take care of business and the rest normally takes care of itself.

If Wiscy beats us today, they may win the BT.

I don't see Mich getting 3 more losses.

I think we can be taken out of the BT Champion talk now.
We almost would have to run the table, maybe lose one more and hope for a tie! I was counting on Illinois to help us, but more of a AAU team than a college team, a lot of talent, look super at times and then just implode. Michigan St is going to lose a couple more. Michigan has won 8 games bye 4 points or less, still could lose 3 more, lost at Minnesota?? I like Wisconsin, they could run the table, they are a bad matchup for most teams, their toughest game is at Michigan State. On a lite note, could Minnesota finish higher tan IU? They have a better road record, probably won't happen it would be fun to see.

If Ohio State can beat Michigan today, we beat MSU Tuesday and then MSU beats michigan next weekend…3 way tie for first.

I have a sinking feeling it won't pan out that way, starting with an OSU L this afternoon.

Note to Micah Parrish: Hey, remember that time when you were at Mackey and didn't even draw iron on something like 6 threes in a row? Maybe want to try that again instead of this 0-4 bullshit you're pulling today?

Michigan gona ****ing win again. Ohio st is in danger of falling out the top 30 which would give us now our 2nd quad 2 loss.

Suddenly we are hurling toward a 5 or 6 seed.

Its amazing how many teams and players go the **** off on us then cant do shit any game after.

And once again more proof its better to be lucky than good. Point blank ahot for OSU tie and he airballs a 1 footer. Amazing.

Give me luck over skill every day of the week. Purdue never has luck though, only bad luck

Still a 3-4 seed and lots more games to be played.

1st in big ten is all but gone. If season ended today we are likely the last 3 seed.

However with @msu, @IU, UCLA, Rutgers, @Ill and factoring in our opponents will all play 6 to 8 pts better than they are against us I see 2-3 being our most likely finish, 3-2 if things break our way.

2-3 finish gets us a 5 maybe even 6 seed. A 3-2 finish likely a high 5 seed. I dont have much hope right now. I cant ****ing fathom that we lost at home to ohio st with a 16 pt lead and at home to wisconsin with a 9 pt lead.

And we are backing to playing 3v5 every game like we were early in the year in our previous losing spree

Oh also if/when rutgers loses today, the win against them goes from quad 1 to quad 2.

So in the last 2 days we will have picked up 2 quad 2 losses instead of quad 1s and lost a quad 1 win to a quad 2.

Sick!

Michigans still plays MSU twice, Illinois and Maryland. Just need then to drop 2 of them and we win out.

Interesting that this weekend OSU, ILL and PU were all favored by the oddsmakers and they all lost.
FWIW, the OSU line was very small (1.5) and the game was back-and-forth for a good quantity of time and came down to the last shot.

I don't understand who or what Illinois is. The first 6 minutes of that game Michigan State wasn't even in the 217 area code. I have to think that no 1-seed is going to want to see Illinois as an 8 next to them.

If you can’t handle this, you can always stop watching and being a fan. It’s not that big of a deal lmao.

If we get any seed in the midwest I like our chances to advance to the second weekend in Indy. It’ll be a tough second round matchup, but if we can get to Indy for s16, I think anything is possible from there with the home crowd.

They were up 16 with eight minutes or so left in the first half, and then Michigan State outscored Illinois 64-34 the rest of the way (including 13 straight in the closing part of the first half).....Illini didn't score the last 8 minutes+ of the game. I guess the TSJ jersey retirement ceremony mess-up at half time was an obvious omen.

The parts of the game I saw, they took a lot of (and this is putting it kindly) ill-advised shots. When they're on, can beat anybody, but when they get off, it's complete discombobulation.

True but he did hit a huge 3 today from the corner in the last minute or so. I think it cut the deficit from 5 to 2.

Illinois is the poster child for crazy talent coupled with stupid coaching and execution— there are times when all that talent overcomes Sam the Butcher’s stupidity ….

With Purdue’s luck, the Featherheads will again morph into the greatest team in history when we visit that prairie spaceship.
