Michigan did a great job on defense against Wisconsin with their 2-3 flex zone, but what was more impressive was the defender guarding the ball handler had his arms completely extended in the air thus guarding against the 3point shot. Purdue does guard the player, but we do not extend our arms. We think we are guarding, but in essence we are just standing between the ball handler and the basket. We need to extend the arms eliminating some of the intro passes or possibly a 3 point attempt---this will be vital against IU and their many 3 point attempts.
