I called out Purdue on being soft mentally and physically in big games. I have to fully admit, after getting hacked all night, losing a 16 point lead and being down 4 with under 2 to play and STILL being able to come back and win in OT showed great composure and toughness. MSU is a legit top 10 team who has some great wins on the year, and to get that win was great and could propel us to the next level.

Great win for our coaching staff and players. Now let's go beat Meatchicken, Maryland, IU, etc. and earn ourselves a 2 seed and do something special this March. Boiler up!

definitely saw glimpses of a championship attitude last night. They barked back when they got barked at and when they got down, they played harder. Some of the best defense I've seen in a while from Ray and AJ. Will power and determination go a long way in basketball. Let's keep it around.

It was great to see the team buckle down & focus with the game on the line.

After giving up 40 pts in the first 16 minutes of the 2nd half, to hold MSU to 0 FGs & only 2 FTs over the final 4 minutes was absolutely awesome. PU went on an 8-0 run over the final 2 mins of regulation & the first 2 mins of OT. Those are the type of crunch time runs that winning teams make. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come.

Great great post!!
Last night is the type of game that builds character and resolve. It's going through the wars and learning out to win. It quite possibly could become a catalyst. And propel this team to the level I've said all along about the talent being there and "This is the year". I hope it's the start of something big.
