I recently discovered a podcast by former Boiler Cuonzo Martin.

Before the start of this season Cuonzo Martin interviewed Coach Painter. A lot interesting tidbits from Coach Painter.

Another interesting tidbit about Cuonzo Martin. Many years ago Cuonzo Martin coached Tennessee to the Sweet 16, and the Tennessee fans wanted Coach Martin out because they did not make it further in the tournament.

if memory is correct Pearl won, but cheated. Zo tried to get the program righted from cheating, but didn't win as quickly as Pearl and so Tenn wanted the immediate winner

You are correct. Tennessee fans wanted Pearl back. Coach Martin did it the right way.
