michigan not so much.

What happened to all of those Michigan fans that were here all summer explanations to us about how they will be awesome with everyone back healthy?

I have to give credit to the Maryland fans.
I have never seen one of their fans over here trying to convince us they are world beaters. They are pretty solid tonight. I think we can beat th however.

Gonna need some H&H swat a shot though.

Maryland is an incredibly different team when Melo isn't at the line all night. I don't recall many freshman living there as much as he did. Force them to shoot FGs and not FTs and we can take them down. Stinks we only go to their place this year.

Two games with the 'Terps this year:

2/6 (away); 2/27 (home)

Didn't realize it was home and away. I assumed since they came to Mackey last year we owed them a road game.

Well, dont feel so bad.One of those announcers during the IUPUI game kept saying Purdue only plays Wisconsin once this year.

Yeah.....I could see that....I don't know how the unbalanced schedule rotation works vis-a-vis particular opponents....someone posted last year I think about this......maybe it was one year in or something like that before it started alternating.....it seems silly that any one University plays more than half of the conference teams just once. Wait until we get the Big Ten-sixteen/twenty-four.

Purdue's single plays this year are:

Away: Indiana, Illinois, Rutgers, and Minnesota
Home: Michigan State, Northwestern, Ohio State, and Penn State

Home/Away (2): Iowa!, Michigan, Maryland, Wisconsin, and Nebraska

In fairness, ESPN's schedule page is wrong and only lists Wisconsin on the schedule once, so I used to think that also.
