Despite the fact of one decent flurry of offense near the end of the third quarter to take a two point lead going into the 4th, Purdue once again played so poorly on offense against a struggling Iowa team that they had no chance. The number of unforced turnovers is astounding. They have no inside game at all. And how can you explain not starting your leading scorer for significant periods in the first and third quarters. Wilson did mange 14 but most in that one spurt. The shooting is atrocious. I cannot believe this team has fallen down so badly after a promising start. They did seem to really fight and hustle tonight, but to no avail. When the game was tied at 55 , Purdue never scored again. Their half court offense, at time is non existent. Tonight over 3 different occasions they went scoreless for over 11 minutes. Hard to believe they will make the Dance now and that seemed once a lock.
