never a fan of his, but wow he has all that talent and is currently 3 - 4 w/ 2 losses having a 14 pt lead in the 2nd half, Venables is another guy who will probably be on the hot seat

He had some success.
Issue is he cares none about the defensive side of the ball and you just can’t do that in the BIG.
Both sides of the ball are atrocious. Purdue might have been the only one to get skunked this past week.
Not really. He would have been significantly more successful at Purdue with even a respectable defense, especially from 2019 thru 2020.
I remember quite a few games lost by Brohm teams because of late game bonehead defensive players with things like unnecessary late hits, etc.
How far down the list will Purdue be in the coaching carousel? USC-Oklahoma-FSU potential openings. ECU is currently open with many to follow.
Riley would do fine here but his ego would never let him take it.
