Wow. They seem like idiots not to see that reaction coming.

I don't like it either. It's strange but I believe I'd have a milder reaction had the Dutch not achieved their victory in such an embarrassing fashion - by taking a flop worthy of the Miami Heat.
 
I am not even a soccer 'fan', but I could tell that was not a 'flop'. Even Bill Laimbeer, the original flopper, and maybe the best one ever, would not call that a 'flop'. Perhaps you only read the headline today about the guy saying he flopped? The REST of the story is that he was talking about a flop he tried in the first half. As Alexi Lallas said, he may have softened up the ref to give the card on the second one, which I think is pure B.S. There is no way a ref would remember that 60 minutes later, or more.
 
I watched it live. We will have to agree to disagree.

Admittedly I don't have a huge body of experience on this stuff.
