I don't think I'm going on a limb but it seems the key to winning the big ten/making a final four will be the play of Vincent and carsen.
Swanigan and haas will be great/solid and it seems the other guards will be able to play their roles but if the two edwards are playing well this team reaches a different level. With no front court depth, Vincent playing well for 30 minutes will be critical against good teams. This is as much avoiding turnovers as scoring.
And I think it's clear carsen gives purdue something it hasn't had in recent years. He's the guy that's going to get a shot when things are slow. The only question is whether he stays under control just enough to make the majority of them. he does seem to be able to get shots for others too and maybe that increases as he becomes a focal point for opposing defenses. I'm jumping around now but his quickness is also evident on defense.
I'm excited to see how this unfolds. It's a higher ceiling team than any since the baby boilers for sure
