Yeah but you know, I remember when we had crap free throws teams. It proves to me that good free throw shooting can win 4 or 5 games a year, even when you play bad. Perseverance!
Agree, Gem. 16-19 tonight......warmed up from three and escaped the Tomb despite 17 turnovers and several shaky moments.

Yes sir. Absolutely beats the alternative. We've shown we can win big. It's good to have the ability to win an ugly game as long as you don't keep going there.

lazy passing left a lot to be desired tonight
Strange that we were team who did just enough to "hang around" until the end and then made clutch shots at the close to steal the win. Usually it seems that happens to us, not by us.
I felt like Penn State got away with a lot of shooting fouls. Every time Vince drove he got slapped on the way up. I think that killed some of their confidence.
One bright spot: the 3-point shooting got on track tonight after a 3 game mini slump.
Also, Isaac Haas really seems to be in a groove now.

I think the light for winning tough games turned on when we came back from 12 down at MD.
