Starting alongside a guy like that has got to be a very attractive point when it comes to playing your freshman year. If he has thoughts of being a one or two and done type player, he would be hard pressed to find a better situation. The roster would be full of upper class guys who provide outside shooting and a big man to take pressure off on the inside. JJJ, playing the PF, would be able to take advantage with his height on smaller players and use his quickness with bigger players. His sophomore year, he would be the focus of the team alongside Cline and Carsen Edwards and whoever else CMP would bring in.
If the young man picks Purdue, I'll be incredibly happy and proud to welcome in to our Boilermaker family. If not, I hope he has a great career and longevity in the NBA.
