IU

About time. This IU team has a ton of potential.

I've been mainly watching NFL, but I can't decide whether it is a horrible O$U or IU is finally living up to their potential. They do look good.

A bit of both. It's the best game IU has played this season on both ends, but OSU can't hit a shot to save their lives and their effort is non-existent.

The loss of Blackman has improved their defense and possibly their team chemistry.

Anunoby has been a better all-around contributor than Blackmon was. Bryant has really settled in too. Unfortunately if he keeps it up he might be gone after this season.

Got that right, OSU played like they were asleep, absolutely no fire there at all. Seems to happen often, teams go into Bloomington and things at first don't go their way, start complaining and feeling sorry for themselves and then it all goes downhill from there.

IU is capable of this type of performance any game and particularly at home. It's not sustainable game in and game out but they have shooters that can turn just about any game into a blowout when they are on. Remember what they did to Maryland in Bloomington last year? Same deal. Same type of team.

Bryant has certainly improved. But hold the horses on him going to the NBA after this year. He has a long way to go before he is ready for that.

He will only be gone if he hires an agent on bad advice and ruins his chances of playing in the NBA. He will be back and should be a lot better next year at IU.

I don't think he's ready, but that paycheck is hard to turn down. If he maintains his current level of play I think some teams will give him a look. Luckily for IU, there are multiple centers that would be drafted over him this year.

And yes, these wins are bittersweet. IU drew a cupcake schedule and that may save Crean's job.

Ohio St has terrible patience and shot selection on offense. IU defense was overwhelming. Pretty impressive.

A friend of mine was worried about a strange rash on his thigh the other day. Why does this break through seem related?

I hope you won't take offense, but we sure hope he keeps his job!!

Who gives a ratass about IU? I'll worry about them when we play them. We've got our hands full.

Really? If you actually believed that, you wouldn't click on a thread named "IU".

No. Actually, it's more like...."Why are we starting a thread about our rival when we have our hands full?". But, you carry on and discuss them as we take a loss. They're undefeated in league play. Then whine when the IU trolls visit. LOL.

The OSU game was a shock to everyone, other than that IU has beaten the teams it should have. We also have a favorable schedule and only play you guys once. This Saturdays Minnesota game will tell us a lot, it's on the road and we struggle up there.

As an IU fan it's has been very frustrating watching kids with ridiculous athletic ability get driven on constantly. Maybe this is a turning point, who knows. As far as Crean goes, he is what he is.
