IU vs. UNLV

Steve Alford would be better than Crean, the fan base loves/worships him & he teaches defense, team defense & accountability/responsibility as well, on & off court. Crean is 180* from Izzo, & learned nothing from Tom while he was at MSU.

My Christmas present = Crean at IU forever.

"Teaches accountability/responsibility on and off the court"? What?! He is one the biggest creeps in college basketball. The guy supported a rapist to win basketball games. That guy is slime. Unless this was TIC, this is completely wrong.

The face of IU (thanks cjcollie.)

he is probably flipping them towards Creen's head

Who is the dude behind Crean that is picking his nose. It is hard to tell if it is a one or two knuckler.

I was hoping he was kidding too.

We lived in Iowa City during the Alford years there. Believe me they would have a different opinion about his accountability!!

These kids at IU are doing whatever they want to do. They violate just about every tried and true principle of organized basketball. It is virtually unwatchable.

Fans and Crean talk about the lack of defense. I think that has to be instilled in the program. The Coach has to put the player or players on the bench until they show the defensive effort. I believe Painter has hurt himself with some recruits by telling them: "You don't play D you are not playing." I'm not criticizing Painter. Just saying D effort has to be instilled in the program. Clearly if you don't give good D effort at IU. You still are playing.

"This is the best game I have seen this year" - Bill Walton
Bill Walton either does not watch many basketball games or has taken too many shots to the head in his playing days.

I think the correct answer is that he has taken too many "hits" to the head
