Then again, we pasted ISU out of the gate, and then the wheels, engine, seats, body panels, drive shaft, gas tank, air conditioning, GPS tracker, frame, antenna, license plate and fuzzy dice on the rear view mirror came off.
Taking the points and the Cards. Great chance to make big money.
You just don’t know how PU will put points on the board. And you assume the defense will normal - capable of giving up 14-21 points to BSU.
I've spoken with several BSU players and they love thier new coach and to a player believe they're going to surprise a lot of folks this year. Words of a MAC title have been stated, though I know it could still be a difficult year for the Cards and I'll root for any team in the state that doesn't say IU on the jersey.
If we can't beat BSU, well, we're going to be in big trouble.
Yeah my site is at 3.5 with the Over being +160, ergo, the underdog. Under is -200.
With so many unknowns for the team this coming season, i think its really hard to make predictions. Going to be interesting to see how Purdue does this year with new coach and so many new players.
No way anyone can know with the transfer insanity. Gotta wait and see
Improvement! That's better than the +4 we would have gotten if the Defensive Savant was coaching this season....
One game at a time, coach always said. Go do what we need to do and then tweak, practice, learn, grow, and get ready for the next opponent. Win or lose, I just want Purdue to be competitive in every game. To be in a position to win, then move over that hurdle and win more than not.
The good news is Purdue has MN, Rutgers and NW on the schedule - none are getting very high pre season praise. MN and NW are road games though. Four or 5 victories looks promising. The November portion of the schedule looks brutal.
