I have little doubt IU will embarrass us.
IU-MI now in Double Overtime....IU looks like a B10 team competing against another B10 team....Purdue looked like a MAC team "trying" to upset a B10 team...pretty sad
So will we give up >100 points in our next two games?
They've yet to win a B1G game. If they lose at MD next week then the only thing on the line when they face us will be to keep from going winless in the B1G. Good teams have a way of eking out the victories. Playing well is like peeing your pants in a dark suit -- it gives you a warm feeling but nobody notices.Wilson needs to be thankful for Coleman and Howard. Without them, what little "success" he's had at IU would never have been.
That being said, I fully expect IU to go over 50 against us.
They won their cupcake non conference games. They have played well in the B1G but not well enough to win. I don't know what we're doing. I refuse to use 2013 as a reference year so relative to 2012 we are still way down. Now I am a dope, but I see progress in Bloomington. 1-11 year 1, 5-7 year 3. Last year was a step back at 4-8, but I bet they go 6-6 this year. Rutgers L will haunt them. Anyway 6-6 is progress. 2-10 NOT progress
I think we will hang around against IU, since they don't have an explosive passing attack. And then of course we'll blow it at the end.I have little doubt IU will embarrass us.
Nope. We will get gashed by their running back from start to finish. It will be real ugly.I think we will hang around against IU, since they don't have an explosive passing attack. And then of course we'll blow it at the end.
I could get through life without being embarrassed if somebody paid me $2M a year for imcompetence. Methinks he must have been a community organizer prior to coaching.DARRELL HAZELL IS BEYOND BEING ABLE TO BE EMBARASSED
"Little doubt"? I have no doubt at all...I think IU scores 60 against Purdue and blows them out in epic fashion...allowing Hazell to make Purdue football history once more! The only reason IU will even bother to bring the Bucket with them is so that they can parade it around at Ross-Ade for their fans, as there will be more IU fans in Ross-Ade than Purdue fans, especially by the time the game ends.I have little doubt IU will embarrass us.

If they suck, I wish Purdue sucked in the same manner...they have been legitimately competitive in virtually every game that they played this year, including against the best teams in their division (and some of the best in the country for that matter) that is far more difficult than the one in which Purdue resides and has not even approached being competitive in. IU football is in a far better place than Purdue football...they will not just beat Purdue, I believe that they will beat them in epic fashion as I had said...and go bowling on top of it after they do.Name s school IU has beat? They might beat us but they suck.

Hazell he`s not worried about the 5 yards he wants to know how he looks with time running out. Shoop says I don`t know I have my own problems, these damm fleas in my beard are driving me crazy. We lose again!!!I see us on their 15 at the end of the game, down by 2 on 4th down. Hazell and Shoop must decide whether to try a field goal or not. They have wasted all their time outs, so we get moved back to the 20.
You write the ending.
I said watching the Michigan-IU game after UM scored first in second OT, Purdue would try a field goal.I see us on their 15 at the end of the game, down by 2 on 4th down. Neither. Griggs will slip as he plants his foot and in falling down make contact with the ball and kick it backwards.Ok, next question. Which side of the goal post will it bounce off?
Wait a sec...you mean we have a field goal kicker on the team?Neither. Griggs will slip as he plants his foot and in falling down make contact with the ball and kick it backwards.
No I don't mean we have a "field goal" kicker on the team. We have a kicker that we trotted out yesterday. Nothing was said about him actually "kicking" a field goal only that he kicks the ball.Wait a sec...you mean we have a field goal kicker on the team?
Gotcha! Could the dude find his helmet? He hasn't kicked one since BG correct? No I don't mean we have a "field goal" kicker on the team. We have a kicker that we trotted out yesterday. Nothing was said about him actually "kicking" a field goal only that he kicks the ball.
Is Shoop also the kicking coach??? The way Griggs has regressed would seem to point in that direction.Gotcha! Could the dude find his helmet? He hasn't kicked on since BG correct?
