Time to make a hot fudge sundae run. Half time jubilation
I wasn't sure heading in, but we ARE the better team. No reason why we shouldn't take this. Let's go Boilers!!
In the 2nd half, we have to go hard for 20 minutes. No not to lose crap.
Play like this the first 5 minutes or so out of the half and this game is over. They can shoot he 3 though, so a come back is possible and have to be aware of that.
Strong finish to the half really helped open up a little. Gotta keep up the intensity the entire second half. CE played some nice defense too.....they have kept Morris contained somewhat.
We can't play much better than that....Hell yes we can. I'm still smellin' it. 2nd half even better

Best half of the season. Win or lose lets just come out and play the 2nd half. Just keep playing. Don't get too agressive don't get too passive. Just keep ballin'
That was the best half I've seen from Purdue in weeks. There is still a lot of game left, however, and ISU is capable of going on a run. There can't be a letup in the second half.
I gotta say I disagree with those calling for Purdue to ease up. ISU cannot defend us. We need to keep pouring it on the second half. The worst thing we could do is go into a shell and try to start running down the shot clock every possession. Play loose, have fun, and deliver the knockout!

Best half we can ask for. Have to stay out of foul trouble and make them keep taking awful long contested shots
Content is what I'm worried about in the second half. We need to come out and play like it is 0-0.
We came to plat tonight. Well motivated and shooting well. Second half will tell the tale, but looking good now.

They're shooting way under their average, they're going to get hot/make a run eventually. Purdue just needs to play smart on the other end of the court and avoid turnovers and be efficient on offense. Purdue's got to avoid the 8(+)-0 runs. Purdue needs to stunt any run.
Couple guys have 2 fouls - PJ and Vince. They can't miss extra minutes with foul trouble.

We can't let up at all since they can score quick. First minutes need to be excellent to put them in the grave,,,no mercy. This is serious business. Stay on track.
No knockout shot. 20 more minutes of intensity. Finish strong and it'll roll over into the next one.
This team is on a mission....Keep the Faith Boilermakers. These guys have come to play and they will not let up. I do think Iowa State will come out with some kind of adjustments but Purdue WILL win this game.
Purdue did a good job scouting and coaching the guys. Gotta be able to adjust to what ISU adjusts to - their PG will no doubt get more involved and man he's tough to stop. PJ has 2 fouls already.
Their run will come. We have to keep up the intensity. Luckily everyone looks focused and ready to play. I don't think Biggie will let them lose this game, but we all know our history! Let's get this!!!

The run will come from isu. We just need to keep playing our game and not let the game turn into a track meet. Simple as that.
We've limited them to a lot of tough shots and Thomas has knocked nearly all of them down and at the same time have missed some open 3's. The lead could be even larger and I love the way we are playing on both ends. If we continue to rebound this well defensively and throw in an offensive board ever now and then we take home the W. They can't guard us and don't look interested in doing so and seem very hesitant to drive the lane.
