Last two weeks they beat both Minnesota and Rutgers 14-7.

Good d but struggle on o.

I feel like we're a big lankford-Johnson play away from this game being very winnable.

It's homecoming and it's going to be beautiful on campus. Go to the game!

I'm driving the 3 hrs with my 3 week old daughters....first Purdue game.

Just saw where Iowa lost to NW in between the Rutgers and gopher game...forgot about that one.

A winnable game for Purdue, but Iowa's offensive line is starting to put things together. The defense has been horrible this year, although looking better.

Difficult to say as no one knows how bad Minnesota is.

Unless Iowa plays football, or something close to it, which hasn't really been the case this season, this will likely be a close football game.

We don't even know about LJ yet. He had a shoulder injury and ended the game with a huge bag of ice on it. Looks like we have 3 reliable backs now but 2 of them have questionable shoulders. Hopefully Jones got plenty of rest and healed quickly and LJ's injury isn't too detrimental.

When I was married, my wife just had to take our 9 month old daughter to Cincinnati Reds game against my wishes, one of the dumbest things she ever did and she realized it very quickly, not a good thing to do, just my experience, good luck if you do

FWIW, several years ago one of my best friends took his recently-born son with him to a Reds game and they have made it a point to go to a Reds game every summer shortly after his birthday each year since and have made a tradition out of it. In other words, I believe it is what you make of it. Wouldn't worry about what the people on this message say. Do what you think is best.

Iowa has been a huge disappointment so far this year. There's been a lack of effort and emotion until last weeks game against the Goofs. I think IA fans are confused as there seems to be very little leadership. IA could play great against you, or horrible.

You do have the ESPN2/ Beth Mowans curse going for you, so there is that...

Very likely, saturday will determine the success of this season. Very important game for both schools. However, Vegas has us at 13.5 underdogs for a reason of which none are good.
