If Allen is Scared of Competition from Card…

Hahaha. AOC has thrown for like 9000 career yards in basically less than 3 years of games. What’s Card done?

Not sure what AOC has to do with your argument? Are you somehow right about Card because AOC threw for 9,000 yards?

The real questions are:. Has Alaimo shown more than Card? No. Has Allen? No. That's all that matters...

After reading through this you’re a confusing guy. Brady Allen is a wuss and not a true Boilermaker. But also he is obviously way better than this loser Hudson Card and Coach Walters is stupid for running him off.

Card was by all accounts one of the top guys in the portal. I believe top 10 overall and #2 qb by 247. So what do you know that no one else does that makes you 110% certain that the 4th string guy from Purdue is so clearly better than the Texas backup behind a multi million dollar NIL guy?

You are embarrassing yourself. Did u watch the alabama game? It doesn't sound like it....lol. he was gritty and good.
Yes. I watched live. If you like bounced passes, stalled drives and losses…he’s your guy. Texas had 10 points before he even got in the game. If you think that was impressive your threshold for good QB play is rather low.

He also lost out to Casey Thompson and we saw that he wasn’t very good either.

I never said Allen was obviously better…but if he’s not willing to compete with a guy who has shown himself to be average at best over his time as basically a backup…then he wasn’t going to be successful here anyhow.

This isnt the coup everybody thinks it is.

But AOC threw for 9,000 yards in his career. Oh shit, that was your logic, not mine...

You made a definitive statement that it was stupid to bring in Card rather than just go with Allen. It appears you are basing that on the fact that he played in a game for Texas which they lost by a point to Alabama. I mean…lol

So. Let me get this straight. You started this thread by saying that Allen is not a true Boilermaker, and are now saying that Walters made a mistake “pushing him out”. Clearly you are here just to stir the pot with your negative takes. At least that’s what I hope because the other option is that your just a moron

I'd go with the other option

Not to knock AOC, many times he couldn't get out of his own way. AOC has a better arm, but Card can get yards running that AOC was never a threat to do. We had to have perfect weather for AOC to win us games. Card can do it with his legs. BTW your assessment of Card's performance is waaaayyyy different than that of the Texas faithful that didn't want to see him leave.

Based on the coaching videos Card has on his Twitter, Card has a bigger arm than AOC. There is one video of him hitting the goal post from about the 50 yard line or so.

if Card is anything like the Michigan QB that Purdue played against this year, i will be really happy. The guy constantly got out of getting sacked , and this was a major factor why Michigan beat purdue. Will be great to have someone like that as Purdue QB.

Coach Walters has a lot to prove so he shouldn’t be afraid of current roster players feelings when adding competition to the depth chart. After the bowl game the team is officially his so I see him signing a boat load of portal guys! This is P5 D1 football, talent and depth win you games!

I’ve seen plenty of him bouncing g balls to receivers to know his arm isn’t as good as AOCs

Not saying AOC doesn't have a good arm, but I dont think he can throw like this:

Let’s see him hit a WR on a deep ball in a game. Or a 10 yard out. Or the multiple routes he missed wide open guys in the Bama game.

If this kid ends up being good I’ll eat crow.

At this point, I’m worried about a losing season…not saying I was wrong.

If you think we were gonna have a winning season next year regardless, you're delusional...

He did what he should have done in the first place. Stick it out
Purdue does not own him. He has every right to explore his options after a complete coaching staff overhaul. He simply entered the transfer portal. At no time did he say he was absolutely leaving. He looked at his options and decided what was best for his future. I’m glad he decided that his best career path was staying at Purdue.

Probably is hard to come to a college, not playing after being highly rated and thinking you should be playing!

I think all true Boilermakers should have a “B” branded on chest like the “Y” on Yellowstone! Just an idea 🤣🤣🤣🤣
