I hope Haas watched that guy from Gonzaga last night...

This is his cheat sheet!! I really liked his strong moves to the rim. Not sure why he sometimes did shy away from doing it when he could. Hope that he realizes that this is his turn to shine this year.

Going to be a interesting final this year. My guess....Cryin' Roy will win another ring. Will he have to give it back if the NCAA finds UNC guilty?

you think the ncaa will do anything to unc? that's cute.
They talked about it during the game Saturday. Not sure which commentator brought it up but mentioned it was challenging for the NCAA to decide on the punishment.

I get you don't want to punish the kids who weren't involved but not doing anything is stupid.

Personally - I think Roy should have to pay back his salary from the years in question and be fired. I mean in a normal business this is how they solve these issues.

Louisville ran prostitutes for recruits...the ncaa does not give a rats azz. Absolutely the current players should be punished. and they should request transfers. It's the only way this behavior stops. No punishment, no change. If there aren't any rules, then quit making the poorer schools abide by them. Ridiculous.

What else is new? Not guilty by virtue of being rich, while guilty for being otherwise

Catch the ball, step, flush. Catch the ball, step, put it in. No dribble. No bringing the ball down below the waste to be stolen. He knew he had the advantage every time....

More like: catch the ball, shot fake 2-4 times, SOMEHOW not get called for 3 seconds in the lane, miss a bunny. I like the guy, but Haas would've been called for a 3 sec violation so many times if that was him.

I know Karnowski did not play well in the NC game. However, I remain only moderately impressed with his play, even when he did play well. I really don't think he was better or worse than our centers. Arguably, his supporting cast might have been better, but at the center position, I think it would draw.

IMHO, Biggie would have caused him problems, and would have scored over him consistently. Even Haas may have done well against him. Of course, Karnowski would have scored over our bigs too. I would like to have seen a Purdue-Gonzaga game, but it was not to be.

I thought Karnowski played well against North Carolina. Unfortunately he does not have the offensive moves Haas has and his shots weren't falling. However, he played well on D and the NC big men did not do that well when he was in the game. His main job was to curtail Meeks and he did. Karnowski is not as quick as Haas nor is he a good leaper, BUT North Carolina lead the NCAA in rebounding and Gonzaga out rebounded them. Like Haas, Karnowski does a good job boxing out and taking up space underneath. When he played, he also had two other big men with him who were able to swoop the boards. I still contend Haas would have been more effective playing the minutes Karnowski played and playing more minutes with Vincent and Biggie both on the court. I did not keep track, but I think there was only twice when the 3 of them had more than 10 fouls. Haas, because of his moves, was also better at drawing fouls on the opp.

If Hass had played in that game with the way fouls were being called...He woulda had 3 fouls in the first 10 minutes.. Then MP would of sat him on the bench the rest of the game.
