From a Purdue perspective, I'd like it to go to at least 16 teams with games at neutral sites.. As a poster above mentioned it will help spread the talent out more.Also as a Purdue fan, getting into a 16 team field vs an 8 team field is obviously an easier task, especially if you're starting the season unranked.

Purdue had only finished #16 or higher in the final AP poll twice in the last 50 years.
As evidence the playoffs are already far too watered down, I submit the fact that seven players from one 1-11 team have already found new homes among this year’s hype-filled 12-entry field with one game remaining to play.
