Florida St blew their game yesterday because of it. 10 seconds left up 3. The purposely fouled Clemson's best FT shooter but only took 1 second off the clock. He made both, then they fouled FSU and he missed one. Clemson comes down and makes an And-1 to win in regulation.
If you don't foul, your chances of losing in regulation are near-zero.
